All of the Smith Cup results are now in and can be viewed on the website. Hard luck to St Neots B who lost by only three points to Civil Service D after clawing their way back from a 252 point start to the Division 4 based Civil Service team.
The Bedford League Table Tennis coaching sessions at Bedford Modern Sports Complex on Wednesday evenings hit a new high this week when, after the normally busy Junior coaching session, 20 adults turned up for a very enjoyable evening's practice and competitive play. The competitively priced sessions at only £3 are probably one of the key reasons for the increased demand that has been seen this season but the addition of fully qualified coaches at no additional charge probably also helps ensure that players keep coming back for more. Please feel free to contact John Alsop on 01234 825030 to find out further details.

Unfortunately Malcolm Carr, our Fixture Secretary, will be unable to fulfil all his usual duties for a few weeks and, therefore, the committee felt it appropriate to provide an additional resource during this period.
Richard Lake, the League's Treasurer, has volunteered to help in this matter.
Therefore, from Monday 14th November if you have any fixture related issues e.g. registering new players, postponements, teams not turning up etc then please contact Richard Lake. Malcolm is still able to receive and process score cards as usual.
Richard Lake can be contacted on 01234 407795 or by email on r.lake@ntlworld.com
